Ordering

It is possible to cancel an order if it has not been made and/or mailed to you. Please telephone or email to enquire further. Your order or gift is created as quickly as possible once your payment has been received. Once your item has been made and posted, an invoice will be emailed to you confirming the details.

The latest catalogue is currently being updated and in order to help cut down on environmental waste and paper usage, it will only be available on-line to download.

Chery Lin Skin Therapy currently only trades in the UK. If you have a gift that you would particularly like to send overseas, please call or email with the details and this will be looked into for you.

You can choose to have your order mailed to an alternative address. You will have the option when you check out.

Placing an order is simple. Just click on the basket corresponding to the product you require and you will be taken to the secure payment site where you will have the option of paying or further shopping.

Payment is simple and secure. This website uses a Pay Pal shopping cart which lets you pay for goods instantly by credit cards, debit cards or your Pay Pal balance (if you have an account set up). It is safe and secure as Pay Pal ensures you make purchases without revealing your financial information to anyone, including sellers. And because you pay instantly, you get your purchases sooner. Cheques are also exceptable, but they must be cleared before an order can be processed. This can delay shipping your order by a few days.

Your order may take a few days to create, especially if you order a number of items or if there is a demand for a particular item. However, it is my aim to make up the orders as quickly as possible, but this may be effected by postal delays and peak periods. If you need a product urgently, please contact me with the details.

It is my aim to deliver as quickly as possible. This should take 2-3 days after your order has been made up. However, this is not guaranteed as recorded delivery is not used. If a customer wishes for a special delivery, this can be arranged, but there may be an additional cost to meet this requirement. Although Chery Lin Skin Therapy trades in the UK, I am happy to try and accommodate overseas deliveries. Postage costs would be applicable, but a customer would be advised before an order is confirmed.

Your payment details are very secure. Firstly, I do not get access to your payment details. Payment transactions are performed through Pay Pal. Whilst you enter your payment details, you will see https in your web browser. HTTPS is a secure version of the http. It is a secure means of transferring data where e-commerce transactions, such as online banking transactions and other financial transactions are involved.

Please note: Information sent through email is not encrypted. If you place an order by sending an email, please do not transmit your payment details by this method. Either send this through Pay Pal or sent a cheque.

I am very concerned that all Chery Lin Skin Therapy products are as eco friendly as possible. All companies, organisations and individuals have an effect on the environment and eco system to some degree, and it is my aim to assure customers that I have a committment to reducing carbon emissions, conserving raw materials and energy and sharing environmental solutions.

Chery Lin Skin Therapy is very concerned with the way the beauty and cosmetics industry uses natural raw materials. All species and materials are continually reviewed to ensure only abundantly available and replenished resources are used in the creation of my products. It is a fact that what we put onto our skins is absorbed into our bodies and bloodstream, so only natural and organic ingredients are used in the careful, handmade production of Chery Lin Skin Therapy products.

In buying Chery Lin Skin Therapy products, you are helping an ethically aware business to achieve the mission of providing luxury, kind beauty care to a growing number of environmentally conscious consumers. Buying ethically is a positive step and diverts funds and credibility away from larger players in the cosmetic industry who may put profits before ethics. These companies are often involved in dubious business practises with a massive budget for clever marketing capable of brainwashing us into thinking that they are 'natural' and 'organic' (often ubiquitous and dubious claims), that wrinkles are bad, and that looking forever young is the only way we can be happy.

We are in danger of losing individual services and unique products. What we buy, where it comes from and how it was made is really important and just because we can re-use a plastic bag shopping at its store, does not give a company green credentials. (Why give points to re-use a plastic bag. It's only encouraging us to buy more under the false assumption that we are helping to achieve a greener world)!

Chery Lin Skin Therapy products are realistic environmentally friendly skincare solutions to help maintain the beauty of strong healthy skin, no matter what age.

Buying organic skincare is a positive environmental step to greener living. Chery Lin Skin Therapy only uses ingredients derived from plants that have been grown without the use of pesticides, harvested from the wild, and where possible grown by small farmers using traditional farming methods and where extraction or distillation can done at source.

Organic cultivation prevents the damaging effects of pesticides on our health and the environment. It is a safe and sustainable method of growing healthy crops without causing damage to the environment. It works in a balanced and harmonious way with nature, keeps the soil alive by enriching the soil with micro-organisms keeping pests in check. This, of course impacts on the wildlife, further encouraging biodiversity.

I truly believe that better health benefits and healing powers are achieved using organic ingredients. Their essence and therapeutic properties are alive and vibrant and we can only benefit from their natural potency.

With the exception of a few which include organic beeswax, all of the products created by Chery Lin Skin Therapy are vegan friendly. It is my policy to check and confirm with all suppliers of raw ingredients and botanical extracts, that nothing contains animal ingredients, has undergone absolutely no animal testing and are as unadulterated as is safely possible.

General

Unfortunately, Chery Lin Skin Therapy is unable to offer free samples. This is because the ingredients used in the creation of the products are valuable and expensive and there would be too much waste. Each product is carefully created individually with nothing made ahead in batches. In order to keep costs down as much as possible and to pass the savings onto customers, free samples are not available. Instead, customers may purchase sample versions of some products.
